WALE represents and supports school leadership and leadership development for headteachers across Dorset.  As an association we seek to represent views which enable strategic decisions to be taken in the best interests of all children.

Our association is committed to collaboration, learning and support.

The WALE Executive Committee consists of sixteen fully elected members, who are elected by and from the WALE membership at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Membership of the Committee is normally two years. 

We have 3 main officers who are responsible for the strategic direction of WALE and 13 Area Reps each representing one of the following areas:  Blandford, Weymouth, Portland, Christchurch, Dorchester, Ferndown, Lychett/Upton, Purbeck, Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Sherborne, Sturminster, Verwood; Wimborne, West Dorset, Poole and Bournemouth.
