WALE represents and supports school leadership and leadership development for headteachers across Dorset. As an association we seek to represent views which enable strategic decisions to be taken in the best interests of all children.

The WALE Area Representatives consist of sixteen members, who are elected by and from the WALE membership at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). 

We have 5 main officers who are responsible for the strategic direction of WALE and 11 Area Reps each representing one of the following areas: Blandford, Weymouth, Portland, Christchurch, Dorchester, Ferndown, Lytchett/Upton, Purbeck, Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Sherborne, Sturminster, Verwood, Wimborne, West Dorset, Poole and Bournemouth.
